Fox News Media announced Thursday, September 3, 2026, that Maria Bartiromo is no longer with the company, effective immediately, after more than 12 years. Fox did not specify a reason, saying only that it thanked her for her work over the last 12½ years and wished her well on her next chapter.
The last episode of her Fox Business show “Mornings with Maria” aired Thursday morning. It will be renamed “Mornings with Fox Business” and use rotating anchors; Jason Chaffetz will temporarily host her Fox News weekend program “Sunday Morning Futures.” Bartiromo, who joined Fox in 2014 after two decades at CNBC, had been off the air since August 9 and had no immediate public comment.
