According to the press service of Tatarstan’s head, as reported by TASS on September 13, 2026, two people were killed and 12 were injured when drones struck industrial and civilian sites in Nizhnekamsk early that morning.
Officials said one drone hit a tree and damaged a parked car with four young people inside; two died and two were hospitalized in serious condition. The attack also sparked a fire at an industrial facility while production continued; Ukrainian reporting later identified the TANECO oil-refinery complex among the targets.
