Did United Russia win 57.83% in Russia’s September 2026 parliamentary election?

Yes. Russia’s Central Election Commission said on September 21, 2026, that the ruling United Russia party won 57.83% of the vote in the State Duma election after more than 95% of ballots had been counted, up from 49.8% in 2021.

The commission said the result would give United Russia about 355 seats in the 450-seat lower house, retaining its constitutional majority. President Vladimir Putin had cast the wartime parliamentary vote as a test of support for the war in Ukraine.
