Yes. Ladyfish (Elops saurus) are edible and are sometimes marketed fresh, salted, or frozen, but they are generally considered poor table fare. According to the Florida Museum of Natural History, the meat is bony and dry and has little value as food, and there is no commercial fishery for the species. Anglers more often catch ladyfish for sport or cut bait than for eating.
