Will Apple replace iPhone Duo phones with screen problems?

Yes. Apple says it will replace iPhone Duo handsets affected by a problem with the inner display, and it is asking affected owners to contact the company for a replacement.

Apple has acknowledged that it is aware of “an issue impacting the inner display on a small number” of Duos, just days after its first foldable iPhone went on sale. Owners posted photos of lines across the screen, cracks along the centre crease, and reports of a crunching noise when opening the phone. Apple did not say how many devices are affected, and some images circulating online may have been made with AI. The Duo has a 7.6-inch (19.3cm) inner display held together by a central hinge, and it starts at £1,999 ($2,668) in the UK. IDC analyst Francisco Jeronimo said Apple needs to clarify its warranty position quickly, because the Duo launches in 28 more markets on October 30.
