Yes. Search Engine Roundtable reported on September 9, 2026 that Google is answering nearly all People Also Ask (PAA) questions with AI Overviews.
AlsoAsked’s sample of about 19.2 million English-language queries found that 97% of PAA answers in the first week of September 2026 were AI Overviews, up from 86% in August and roughly 12% about 14 months earlier. Allintitle’s Also Ask Miner data pointed the same way, describing PAA answers as essentially fully AI-generated from August 2026.
