Yes. NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope has revealed a giant, evolving 10-sided atmospheric wave — a decagon — encircling Saturn’s south pole, the first large regular-sided jet pattern observed in the planet’s southern hemisphere.

The feature resembles Saturn’s famous northern hexagon but appears to be strengthening and newly forming. Researchers pieced it together from Hubble Outer Planet Atmospheres Legacy (OPAL) images dating back to 2023, with results published in Science Advances.
