Yes. Reuters reported that the board of Tata Sons, the holding company of India’s Tata Group, reappointed Natarajan Chandrasekaran as chairman for another five years on Thursday, despite opposition from the head of controlling charity arm Tata Trusts.
After the vote, Tata Trusts publicly protested the reappointment as a breach of internal rules and also opposed any stock-market listing of Tata Sons, deepening a boardroom clash over governance, Air India losses, and the group’s future direction.
