Yes. On Monday, September 7, 2026, NTSB Chair Jennifer Homendy said investigators had recovered both the flight data recorder and the cockpit voice recorder from Amazon Air Flight 7598, the Boeing 767 cargo jet that overran runway 30 at Miami International Airport the day before.
Homendy said the recorders were being sent to NTSB headquarters in Washington, D.C., for download and review. Five people were killed and five others injured when the aircraft struck vehicles beyond the runway; the NTSB had a large team on scene as the investigation continued.
