Yes. On September 29, 2026, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctioned 10 individuals and entities in multiple jurisdictions that it said procured weapons and weapons components for Iran’s Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics (MODAFL).
The designations, announced under Operation Economic Outcast and Executive Order 13382, named parties linked to China, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Iran, including a MODAFL representative in Beijing and intermediaries accused of supplying electronics and other defense-related components.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the campaign will keep targeting supporters who help the Iranian regime sustain its military programs. Primary source: U.S. Department of the Treasury press release.
