Yes. President Donald Trump ended a weekend stay at Camp David a day early and returned to Washington, D.C., on the evening of September 19, 2026, landing near the White House just before 8 p.m., according to a White House pool report. The White House did not confirm why the schedule changed. The early return came as the U.S. State Department warned that fighting between Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s Houthi rebels could escalate rapidly, and after Houthi forces claimed missile and drone strikes on Riyadh.
