How many days of oil export stocks does Yanbu have while Saudi Arabia’s East-West pipeline is shut?

Industry sources told Reuters on September 13, 2026, that oil stocks at Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea port of Yanbu can keep exports going for only about five to seven days while the East-West pipeline remains offline after drone attacks.

The pipeline had been moving roughly 4 million barrels a day around the Strait of Hormuz. Yanbu’s storage capacity is estimated near 35 million barrels, but stocks are not full and will run down without a restart. Saudi authorities have not confirmed the timeline or the stock estimate.
