The Jaguar Type 01 starts at $130,500 in the United States and at a minimum of £130,000 in the UK. Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) showed the car in public for the first time in New York in October 2026; it is the first model of the relaunched, all-electric Jaguar brand, which drew a backlash in 2024 over its rebranding advert and pink Type 00 concept car.
The Type 01 is a four-door electric grand tourer with a long bonnet that nods to the 1960s E-Type. JLR says its electric motors produce about 1,000 horsepower, take it from 0 to 62mph in 3.2 seconds, and give a range of up to 320 miles at sustained highway speed. It is expected to be the first of three new electric Jaguar models.
