No. Quicken is no longer owned by Intuit: Intuit sold the personal finance software to private equity firm H.I.G. Capital in 2016, and H.I.G. sold it to Aquiline Capital Partners in 2021.
Intuit originally developed Quicken, which first appeared in 1983 for MS-DOS and the Apple II. When Intuit announced the sale in March 2016, it kept Mint.com, the free budgeting service it had bought in 2009, so Mint did not go with Quicken. Today Quicken is developed by an independent company, Quicken Inc., which sells Quicken Classic editions for Windows and Mac by subscription, plus Quicken Simplifi, a cloud-based budgeting app launched in 2020. Quicken is sold only in the United States and Canada, and only in English. So if you still see the Intuit name on an old Quicken box or disc, it dates from before the 2016 sale.
