SpaceX’s 35th commercial resupply mission for NASA (CRS-35), which launched on a Falcon 9 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on October 13, 2026, delivered a Dragon cargo spacecraft carrying equipment for making artificial retinas in microgravity, 3D heart tissue models for testing drug screening methods, brain organoids (tiny lab-grown models of brain tissue) for studying conditions such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and multiple sclerosis, and materials for studying how a new type of glass forms in near weightlessness.
Dragon also brought the final set of International Space Station Roll-Out Solar Arrays (IROSAs), which are planned for installation later this fall. The spacecraft is expected to stay docked until mid-November before returning research samples to Earth with a splashdown in the Pacific Ocean off California.
