December 4, 2026. Fable, the AI studio co-producing Gods Don’t Give Gifts, moved the film’s U.S. theatrical release from October 30 to December 4, 2026. The R-rated film is an anthology of four AI-generated shorts by the YouTuber Gossip Goblin (Zack London), and its trailer begins playing in theaters on Friday, October 9.
The later date brings the film closer to awards season: Fable plans to submit it for Best Animated Feature at the next Academy Awards, with screenings for Academy voters and critics and a Los Angeles billboard campaign in November. As of October 6, Fable had not named a distributor.
