How to cancel Claude Pro?

To cancel Claude Pro, cancel it on the platform where you signed up: on claude.ai or Claude Desktop, click your name or initials in the lower left corner, select Settings, go to Billing and click Cancel. Anthropic’s Help Center says the cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you can keep using your paid plan until then.

As of November 4, 2026, if you subscribed through Claude for iOS or Claude for Android, tap your initials in the top right corner of the app, choose Billing, then Manage subscription and follow the prompts. If you already removed the app, cancel from your Apple subscriptions or Google Play account instead. The same steps apply to Max and Ultra plans.

Anthropic says to cancel at least 24 hours before your next billing date to avoid another charge. Canceling does not delete your chats, projects or files; your account moves to the Free plan once the period ends. On Team and self-serve Enterprise plans, an Owner or Primary Owner cancels under Organization settings, then Billing.
