ChatGPT Go costs $8 a month in U.S. dollars, which makes it OpenAI’s lowest-priced paid ChatGPT plan, below Plus at $20 a month.
As of November 7, 2026, OpenAI’s ChatGPT pricing documentation lists Go at $8 a month and Plus at $20 a month. The OpenAI Help Center says Go is available in every country where ChatGPT is supported, renews automatically each month and can be canceled anytime. There is no annual plan and no option to prepay several months. Purchases are in USD, with local-currency billing in a limited set of countries, so the amount you see locally may differ.
Go includes everything in Free plus higher limits for image generation, file uploads and data analysis, longer memory, and Think, which uses GPT-5.6 Luna. The Plans and Pricing page lists a 256K reasoning context window for Go, while GPT-6.1 Sol requires Plus or higher. OpenAI is testing ads with eligible Go users in select regions, and API usage is billed separately.
