ChatGPT Plus costs $20 per month. OpenAI bills the plan monthly, and there is no annual Plus option.
As of November 6, 2026, OpenAI’s Help Center article What is ChatGPT Plus? lists the price as $20/month (billed monthly) and states that annual billing and paying for multiple months in advance are not supported for ChatGPT Plus. Plus is available on the ChatGPT website and supported apps; API usage is billed separately. On the consumer ladder, ChatGPT Go is $8 USD per month in the United States (localized in some markets) per OpenAI’s ChatGPT Go launch post, and ChatGPT Pro offers three monthly tiers—Pro 100 at $100, Pro 200 at $200, and Pro 500 at $500—according to OpenAI Help About ChatGPT Pro tiers. To subscribe, sign in to ChatGPT, open your profile icon, choose Upgrade Plan, and select Get Plus.
