Windsurf is free on its basic plan and costs $20 a month for Pro and $200 a month for Max, while Teams costs $80 a month plus $40 a month per full developer seat.
As of November 7, 2026, these prices appear on Cognition’s official pricing page, where windsurf.com/pricing now redirects. The editor formerly called Windsurf is now called Devin Desktop. Prices are in U.S. dollars, and Enterprise pricing is quoted on request.
Cognition replaced Windsurf’s credit system with usage quotas on March 19, 2026. Each paid plan includes an allowance that refreshes daily and weekly, and you can buy extra usage at API pricing once you reach it. Pro adds full model availability, free use of the SWE-2 model and access to Devin Cloud agents. Max adds significantly higher quotas. Teams supports up to 200 users with centralized billing and an admin dashboard. The Free plan keeps unlimited Tab completions and inline edits with a light agent quota. Cognition said existing Pro and Teams subscribers keep their earlier price indefinitely, so some guides still list older figures.
