Yes. Amazon began blocking Meta’s Muse AI agent from shopping on Amazon.com starting Sunday night, September 20, 2026. Muse users trying to shop there saw pop-ups stating that continued access by an unauthorized AI agent violates Amazon’s Conditions of Use.
Amazon said Meta had not notified or been authorized to access its store, raised privacy and security concerns about credential handling and self-identification, and asked Meta to remove Amazon from the Muse experience. Meta did not immediately comment publicly on the block.
