Did Estonia blame Russia for an August 2026 arson attack on defense company Milrem Robotics?

Yes. On September 29, 2026, Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal said the country’s Internal Security Service concluded that an August 15 arson attack on a Milrem Robotics building in Tallinn was sabotage commissioned by Russian special services.

Milrem supplies unmanned ground vehicles to Ukraine. Three suspects were detained in Latvia and later handed over to Estonia; a criminal investigation continues. Russia has rejected Western sabotage accusations as baseless.
