Yes. NTSB Chair Jennifer Homendy said on Sept. 7, 2026 that the Boeing 767 cargo jet — Amazon Air Flight 7598, operated by 21 Air — traveled about 1,300 feet past the paved surface after overrunning Runway 30 at Miami International Airport on Sept. 6.
Homendy said the aircraft struck a cleaning-company van inside the airport perimeter and a Toyota Corolla Cross on Northwest 67th Avenue outside the fence; the five people killed were in those two vehicles. Investigators have recovered the flight data and cockpit voice recorders and have not yet stated a probable cause.
