Is Grok free?

Yes, Grok is free to use: SpaceXSI offers a $0 Free plan with limited usage, including free tier limits on Grok Chat and Voice, while paid plans add a much larger usage allowance.

As of October 31, 2026, the SpaceXSI pricing page lists five individual plans: Free ($0 a month, limited AI usage), Plus ($8), Premium ($30, 4x the usage of Plus), Super ($100, 15x) and Ultra ($200, 50x). Premium is the plan SpaceXSI recommends for new AI users and the first tier that adds Grok Bot and the latest Grok models. Paid plans share one AI usage pool across Grok and Cursor that refreshes weekly.

According to the Grok FAQ, paid users who use up their weekly pool keep access to Grok’s free tier limits on Chat and Voice, which reset on their own schedule. They can also buy Extra Usage Credits on the web, starting at $5, or upgrade. Paid plans include Grok API access, but API calls are billed separately at standard model rates. Listed prices exclude taxes.
