Yes, Cursor has a Free plan that costs $0 a month, but it comes with limited AI usage and only Cursor’s own models.
As of October 30, 2026, Cursor’s help center says the Free plan lets you use Agent, Chat and Tab completions with Cursor models (Grok and Composer) at limited usage. Third-party models such as Claude, GPT and Gemini are not available on Free. Anyone still on the older free Hobby plan keeps it, and it works the same way.
Cursor is now sold as part of The X Subscription, which also covers Grok and X. Paid plans are Plus at $8 a month, Premium at $30, Super at $100 and Ultra at $200, before tax. Annual billing costs $80 a year for Plus and $300 a year for Premium. Each paid plan includes a usage pool shared with Grok that refreshes weekly. Plus is limited to Cursor’s own models. Premium and higher plans add Cloud Agents, Automations, Bugbot code review and third-party models billed at API list price from prepaid credit. Teams seats cost $30, $100 or $200 per user per month.
