Was the Amazon Air Miami crash operated by 21 Air LLC?

Yes. The National Transportation Safety Board identifies the Sept. 6, 2026 Miami International Airport runway overrun as 21 Air LLC Flight 7598, a Boeing 767-33A Part 121 cargo flight from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Miami.

NTSB Chair Jennifer Homendy said the flight was an Amazon cargo operation contracted to Miami-based 21 Air LLC, and investigators are reviewing that contractual relationship as part of the probe. The aircraft carried Amazon/Prime Air branding, but 21 Air was the certificated operator.
