Samsung plans to launch USDC stablecoin remittances in Samsung Wallet starting in the last week of October 2026. Eligible U.S. Galaxy users will be able to send USDC to compatible crypto wallets abroad or to eligible bank accounts in more than 60 countries, with recipients able to receive local currency.
The feature will be available on about 82 million Galaxy devices in the United States, using Bastion for custody and the Solana and Sui blockchains. Samsung will not charge fees for transfers to compatible external wallets, though recipient wallets or exchanges may charge their own fees.
