ESPN’s College GameDay opened its 40th season on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026, live from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on LSU’s campus ahead of Clemson at No. 11 LSU. The stop was also the show’s 500th road broadcast, with the three-hour program airing 9 a.m.–noon ET on ESPN, ESPNU, Disney+, and the ESPN App before the 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff on ABC.
LSU hosted GameDay for the 15th time. Next week’s confirmed location is Austin, Texas, for Ohio State at Texas on Sept. 12.
