What stock ticker will Anthropic use when it goes public?

Anthropic plans to list its shares on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol ANT, according to details the AI company released on October 26, 2026, ahead of its initial public offering.

The company behind the Claude chatbot disclosed revenue of $16.3 billion and losses of more than $80.7 billion in the first half of 2026. The number of shares it will sell and their price range have not yet been set. Its valuation at listing is expected to exceed SpaceX’s, which went public this summer at an initial valuation of about $1.8 trillion in the biggest stock listing on record, so Anthropic’s debut is likely to become the largest in history. Anthropic, founded five years ago by chief executive Dario Amodei, his sister Daniela Amodei and five other co-founders, announced its intention to go public in June. Rival OpenAI has also said it plans to list, with its offering expected early next year.
