Cursor Pro costs $20 per month and Pro+ costs $60 per month, and the main difference is how much usage you get: Pro+ includes more of both monthly usage pools than Pro, while the features are the same.
As of November 1, 2026, Cursor’s documentation lists Pro and Pro+ as legacy Cursor plans. New customers start on The X Subscription instead, but existing subscribers keep their plan, price and features unless they change or cancel.
Both plans include a Cursor Models pool for Grok 4.7, Grok 4.6, Grok 4.5 and Composer 2.5, plus an Other Models pool for third-party models at each model’s API price. Both pools reset monthly. Both plans also include unlimited Tab completions, Bugbot, Cloud Agents, Automations, Origin, the Cursor SDK, Fast mode and Grok effort levels. On-demand usage is available on both and is off until you turn it on.
You can still move from Pro to Pro+ without switching subscriptions. Upgrades take effect immediately and downgrades apply at the end of the billing period. If you switch, Cursor maps Pro to Premium ($30 per month) and Pro+ to Super ($100 per month).
