How to cancel Cursor subscription?

To cancel a Cursor subscription, go to cursor.com/dashboard/billing, click Manage in Stripe to open the Stripe billing portal, then click Cancel Subscription and confirm. That is Cursor’s process for plans billed on cursor.com, which Cursor now calls legacy Cursor plans.

As of November 4, 2026, Cursor is also sold through The X Subscription. If your plan is on The X Subscription, go to grok.com/dashboard/billing, open the options on the Current plan card, choose to cancel and follow the prompts. If you subscribed in the iOS app, cancel through Apple, and plans bought in the Grok Bot Android app are canceled through Google Play. On Teams and Enterprise plans, only a team admin can cancel.

After you cancel, you keep paid features until the end of the current billing period and are not charged again. Your account then reverts to the Free plan, or the free Hobby plan on legacy accounts, and canceling does not delete your account or local project files. An unpaid invoice can block cancellation until it is paid.
