To delete your Claude account on the web, go to claude.ai, click your initials or name in the lower left corner, open Settings, then Account, click Delete account and follow the prompts.
As of November 4, 2026, Anthropic’s Help Center says Pro, Max and Ultra subscribers must first cancel in Billing settings and wait for the current subscription period to end before deleting. In the iOS app, tap Settings, then Profile under Account, then Delete account and Delete. In the Android app, open the menu, tap your initials, then Profile, and under Account Actions tap Delete Account and I Understand.
Deletion is permanent: you lose your conversations, projects and account information, and the account can’t be recovered, so export your data on web or desktop first. If your settings show Contact support instead of a delete option, request deletion through the support messenger. If several accounts share one email, say which ones to delete. Access through a third-party service such as Slack or Poe is deleted through that provider.
