To delete your Grok account, sign in at accounts.x.ai and follow the account deletion steps there, or on grok.com open Settings, then Data Controls, and select Delete Account.
As of November 4, 2026, xAI’s Consumer FAQ says the Grok mobile app has the same option under Settings, then Data Controls, where you can also choose Delete All Conversations if you only want to clear your history. Your Grok login is an xAI account, so if you use it for the xAI API, your API access is removed as well. Grok billing is managed separately at grok.com under Settings, then Billing, or with Apple or Google if you subscribed through an app store, so check any paid plan there.
xAI says you can restore a deleted account within 30 days by logging in again and confirming restoration, and that deleted data can take up to 30 days to be removed from its systems. If you use Grok inside X, deleting that data or your X account is handled through the X Help Center instead.
